  • Commonwealth Public Safety Memorial


    VPSF serves as official administrator for the Commonwealth Public Safety Memorial project, working to build Virginia's monument to public safety officers killed in the line of duty. The memorial design was selected by a gubernatorial commission in 2008 and will be constructed at Darden Garden on Capitol Square in Richmond. For more information click here.

  • A Message from the President

    Welcome to Virginia Public Safety Foundation's website. Here you'll find information about VPSF's important work to support Virginia's public safety community. For 17 years VPSF has been the first responder for Virginia's first responders when they're most in need.

    I have participated on the board for several years and I am proud to now serve as the president of VPSF's board of directors and as public safety official in the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue. Myself and the other board members are honored to support the Emergency Responders in the Commonwealth of Virginia through a wide variety of services and responsibilities.

    VPSF is charged with the enormous responsibility of managing the Commonwealth Public Safety Memorial, Virginia Commonwealth Public Safety Memorial to be built on Virginia's Capitol Square in Richmond. Virginia is one of the only states without a memorial honoring officers lost in service to their communities. We're working to raise the funds needed for construction and we need your pledge of support. Please consider making a contribution on-line here today.
